Theres magic in every seed just waiting to be unleashed but it needs a specific set of circumstances to be successful.
On this day we focus on lots of different kinds of seeds, why we should grow them, how to grow them and the best seeds to try.
We will look at the things that make seed sowing a real success and the most common mistakes that people make.
I will talk about watering, pre sowing prep, composts, feeding, light & heat.
The objective is that on leaving the course you understand how & why seeds grow and you are versed in giving them exactly what they will want to thrive. Everyone will leave with some seeds planted that they can grow on.
We will also touch on the basics of propagation by cuttings – the right and wrong way and the common mistakes.

Note: If you are more interested in propagation only you should book on the Propagation course where we will be doing propagation in depth across a wide range of perennial and tender plants.
